Guest speakers, panel discussions and practical workshops will give students an opportunity to learn more about radio. The conference, run in conjunction with the Socities' Office in NUI Galway and CRAOL, the Community Radio Forum of Ireland.
The focus will not specifically be on Student Radio, it will be all-encompassing of the medium and the structures built around it.
The event will focus on 3 strands of radio - Theory, Practical and General, with experts and people directly involved in radio giving talks on varying topics within these strands.
The conference starts on the evening of Friday the 7th of March, with an early registration for those staying the night in Galway City, followed by a social in NUI Galway’s College Bar. Things then kick off fully on Saturday the 8th of March with registration in Áras Na Mac Léinn at 10:30hrs.
We all really hope you can make it down to Galway for the weekend!
